2021 marks 20 years of pastoral leadership by our founder and leaders, Pastor James Alberts. Together with 1st Lady Alberts, they lead our flock in a multitude of arena around our community and in our lives. The Story

Higher Ground is truly a blessed church! Since its founding in 2001, we have accomplished many great things in this community and in the individual lives of the people and families the church touches. There are many ways for us to see how this has been possible. But, I will tell you that it would not have happened without members like you.
As workers in Christ, it is important for us to know that we are a part of God’s Kingdom and we are all called according to His purpose.

Finding our way to 300
I have had this vision for some time. That there are 300 Real Workers for Christ that is are already allotted to Higher Ground. In order to get them, we need to keep 1200 people active in the community and in the church. Getting YOU active is only 1 job out of the 300 that God has destined us to have.
